Meet Our Founder

Assumpta Audu is a writer-director whose career began in entertainment journalism. Her previous work as an entertainment journalist was published in Culture Custodian and Google Arts and Culture. After obtaining her MSc. in Film Production at the Pan-Atlantic University, she has collaborated with global brands such as Netflix, Multichoice, and Prime Video.


As an artist, Assumpta explores themes related to neo expressions of Africanism, freedom, personhood, and identity trauma, subverting them with complex visuals, peculiar dialogue, and vibrant colors.


As a researcher, she aims to further blur the lines between film, business, and big data.
